Founded by Soong Ching-ling, this hospital is a specialized obstetrics, gynecology, and maternal-child health institution integrating medical care, health maintenance, teaching, and research. It has received the National May 1st Labor Award, the National Advanced Collective in Culture, Education, and Health, and other honors.[4][8] It collaborates with the World Health Organization, the United Nations Population Fund, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the University of British Columbia in Canada, and others. Services include MRI, among others.
