
Shanghai First People's Hospital, founded in 1864, is one of the earliest comprehensive century-old hospitals in China and is currently a National Civilized Unit. It has repeatedly been awarded honors such as National Top 100 Hospitals, Advanced Unit in the National Health System, and the National May 1st Labor Award Medal. In recent years, it has received multiple Shanghai Science and Technology Awards. In 2023, a doctor at the hospital was honored with the title of "Shanghai Good Doctor." The hospital houses the First Branch of the National Science Center for Translational Medicine. The International Medical Care Center (IMCC) collaborates with various international medical insurance providers and offers transfer services for foreign patients.
